This lovely stone-built inn is in the picturesque village of Easton on the Hill, just off the A1 motorway, 2 miles south of the historic town of Stamford.

Hosts Peter and Kathy welcome you to The Oak Inn where you will find comfortable en suite bedrooms, a light and airy conservatory restaurant. There is a large terraced decking area where you can drink and dine al fresco. The cosy pine bar serves Real Ales and fine wines. Close to Rutland Water and Rockingham Raceway, the inn has a large, free car park at the rear.

Directions

By car: From the A1 (northbound): - Head north on the A1. - After you pass Wittering, you will notice Burghley Park Golf Club on your right. - Look for a left turn (Racecourse Road). - Take this, which will bring you onto the A43 (Stamford Road) in Easton on the Hill. - Turn left, and The Oak Inn is approximately 800 metres on your right. From the A1 (southbound): - Exit via the A16, following signs for Wothorpe and Stamford. - At the end of the exit, turn right at the A16, proceeding to the A43 (Stamford Road). - The Oak Inn is on the right, just after you have passed through the main Easton on the Hill village. By rail: From Stamford Railway Station (4 km / 2.5 miles): - A taxi would be the most convenient way of making this short journey.
